It is difficult to provide an exact timescale as the length of time required will very much depend on the scope of the works. Once Cambs HIA has received a referral for the recommended adaptations from your Occupational Therapist we will register your case and a Caseworker will be allocated to work with you.

If the work is to install a simple piece of equipment we should be able to complete this within a few weeks.

Where more major building work is required, it may take several months to complete especially if the work is an extension which requires planning permission.

Once we know the scope of the works you require we may be able to provide you with an estimate of the timescales.
